GRIEFWRECK

About GRIEFWRECK

GRIEFWRECK is an administrative guide for the mess someone leaves behind. When a person dies, their life keeps generating paperwork — bank accounts, insurance policies, retirement plans, subscriptions, veterans benefits, unpaid wages, final taxes — and someone has to find it all and close it out. GRIEFWRECK helps a survivor discover what the person actually had, understand what each item means, and resolve it one manageable step at a time. Upload the documents you inherited, or start from "I don't know what they had," and the app reads everything, flags money that may be owed to the estate, builds a plain-English action list, drafts the emails and phone scripts for you, tracks which organizations still owe you a response, and lets you bring family members in with permissions you control.

Who it's for

It's built for the people nobody plans to be: spouses, adult children, siblings, and friends who suddenly become executors, next of kin, or the person-who-handles-things — with no legal training, no map, and a funeral to plan at the same time.

Who builds it

GRIEFWRECK is built by a small, independent team that believes grieving people shouldn't need a law degree to figure out what their person left behind. The product is in private beta. Your documents and data stay private by default, and you can delete everything whenever you want.
